Kholisile Khumalo

Founder & CEO

Kholisile Khumalo has actively participated in and contributed to a wide range of Learning and Development programmes across South Africa and the broader African continent. These initiatives have been delivered through strategic collaborations with organisations such as Mzansi SCUBA Diving Academy (MSDA – his own company), Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD), Telkom South Africa, ARMSCOR, Southern Africa Telecoms Association (SATA), and Africa Maritime Defence (AMD), among others.

His contributions have primarily focused on the following areas:

SCUBA Diving and Commercial Diving

Underwater Digital Photography

Psychosocial support for at-risk youth

Aviation and Aerospace Development

Kholisile Khumalo has actively participated in and contributed to a

Kholisile has also supported multiple organisations across Africa—such as Swazi Telecom, Lesotho Telecom, Mozambique Telecoms, iWay Africa, and Gambia Telecom—in training and development programmes focused on ICT engineering and technician skills advancement.

Through Mzansi SCUBA Diving Academy (MSDA), he is currently leading the rollout of a nationwide SCUBA Diving Skills Programme (SDSP), aimed at equipping unemployed youth with practical, employable skills.

In addition, Kholisile Khumalo serves as the Chairperson of the Africa Aerospace and Defence Youth Development Program (YDP), which aims to:

  • Encourage learners to pursue Mathematics, Science, and Technology subjects
  • Support government efforts to improve Maths and Science outcomes at both provincial and national levels
  • Assist unemployed graduates in accessing job opportunities, bursaries, and learnership programmes
